PPro will rebuild the defaults on next launch. If you mess up so badly after step 7 occurs that you can't stand the new layout, just go to the Layouts folder inside of the folder where your default project location is and delete all of the workspace. This will display some additional settings for you to adjust. Check this option to raise the conversion speed. And click the OK button to keep your settings. Click the Reset button at the bottom-left corner to reset all the Convert settings to be the factory settings. If, in step 3, you named the "new" workspace "Editing", then you would overwrite the default layout that existed when you installed PPro. On the Settings page, click the Show advanced settings link at the bottom of the page. You can change the number from 1 to 2 for simultaneous conversion, by default its 1 task.
